Unlike in April, when the audience could listen to most of the presentations in their mother tongue, this time all contributions will be delivered in English to allow an even more open collaboration amongst the like-minded peers coming from several European countries, not just Hungary.
To cater for the Hungarian speaking professional community, EDEN is organising its first OpenPROF Multiplier Event on the local premises of EDEN’s valued member institution (and host of the EDEN Secretariat), the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
On April 1st, 2016, LieDM association is organizing the second OpenPROF project multiplier event "Open courses for professional development" for education institutions in Lithuania. The event aims at presenting the open innovative curriculum prepared for Lithuanian VET, CVET, adult learners, and work based learners. The interested teachers are also invited to participate in course "Personalized learning at workplace" (in Lithuanian) piloting in April, 2016.
During the days of 7-11 March 2016 OpenPROF was actively contributing the content of the Open Education Week, that aims to raise awareness about free and open educational opportunities that exist for everyone, everywhere, right now. Universities, colleges, schools and organisations from all over the world came together to showcase what they are doing to make education more open, free, and available to everyone.
On the 10th of December 2015, Auxilium organised its first OpenPROF multiplier event in Graz, Austria. In addition to experienced and established trainers and adult educators that were engaged as participants, also future trainers and adult educators took part in the event, seeing the chance of bringing the idea of open professional collaboration to the future generation of trainers and educators alike.
Designing innovative and sustainable curriculum with ICT enhanced learning tools is a new challenge for teachers, trainers and adult educators. Professionals supporting these innovative services at learning institutions contribute to developing professional identity, self-esteem and self-potential.
OpenPROF project multiplier event "Open Professional Collaboration for OER Development" was organized in international conference "Open professional collaboration". Conference was organized by Vytautas Magnus University and OpenPROF project partner Lithuanian Association of Distance and E-learning (LieDM).
OpenPROF actively participated in the Synergy Strand of the EDEN 2015 Annual Conference, titled "Expanding Learning Scenarios - Opening Out the Educational Landscape", in Session H5 "Skilled teachers through open classrooms to innovative learning".
